Rosette Brooches - A Couple More

I have a feeling I'm going to be find these all over the place. Just found these in the back of a dressing table drawer.

The one on the right is made from an old felted wool jumper.
The one on the left is like the ones in the previous blog.

I think some of them may become a give away shortly - so watch this space.

Rosette Brooches

Another great way of using up scraps are these lovely little brooches. Have given loads away as pressies and sold lots at craft fairs over the years too. Found these lurking in a drawer whilst doing some clearing for the move.

Made with strips of fabric with their edges trimmed with pinking shears and then gathered into a circle.
A little crochet circle or two added in matching/contrasting colours.

Maybe a frill of lace too.
Topped with a button, pearl, bow and sequin or two.

All stacked up, sewn together and a brooch bar sewn to the back.

Cute, fun and easy from very little materials.
